This website is operated by Scandia HVAC LLC, trading as Albion Coldchain, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about it at info@albioncoldchain.com.
What we collect
- Details you send us through the survey form, WhatsApp, email or phone: your name, company, phone number, email address, emirate, and information about your site and enquiry.
- Messages and records of our correspondence with you.
- If we switch on website analytics, information about how the site is used: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you arrived.
- Your light or dark display preference, which is stored in your own browser and is not sent to us.
How the survey form works
The survey form does not store your details on this website. When you press send, it opens WhatsApp or your email app with your details filled in. Nothing reaches us until you send that message yourself.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a survey or visit
- To prepare quotations and carry out work we agree with you
- To keep the records we are required to keep by law
- To understand how the website is used and improve it
Legal basis
We process your personal data with your consent, which you give when you send us an enquiry, and where we need to in order to take steps towards or perform a contract with you, or to comply with our legal obligations, as permitted by the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Who we share it with
- Our group company, UK Coldstore Limited, where its engineers support your project
- Service providers who run our email, website hosting and communications
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to contact us that way
- Google, if we switch on Google Analytics
We do not sell your personal data.
Transfers outside the UAE
Some of these providers, and our group company in the UK, process data outside the UAE. We share only what is needed and take steps to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, and records of contracts and invoices for as long as UAE law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email info@albioncoldchain.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not use advertising cookies. It stores your display preference in your browser. If we switch on Google Analytics, it sets cookies to measure visits, and we will update this notice when we do. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
