Why Gulf ambient changes the selection
Condensing units are rated at standard conditions, typically around 32 °C ambient. On a Dubai roof in August the air reaching the condenser can be well over 45 °C. At that temperature the same unit delivers less cooling, draws more power and runs at higher pressures.
We select on the capacity at Gulf conditions, then site condensers for clear airflow and shade, away from hot-air recirculation. More on plant sized for a European summer.
Refrigerants
We select refrigerants with the global phase-down of high-GWP HFCs in mind, so the system you buy today can still be serviced in ten years. Some low-GWP options, including CO2, need specific design to work efficiently in high ambient, and we explain the trade-offs for your site.
Maintained by the engineers who fitted it
The engineers who commission your plant are the ones who service it, under a planned maintenance contract with response times agreed in your SLA.
Questions we are often asked
Can you replace the refrigeration on an existing cold room?
Yes. If the envelope is sound, replacing undersized or worn plant with a unit selected for Gulf ambient is often the most cost-effective fix. We check the room at the survey.
Do you work on plant from any manufacturer?
Yes. We service and repair refrigeration plant whoever made or installed it.
